Concya Labs Inc. is committed to making Concya usable for restaurant operators and staff, including people who use assistive technologies. This page describes accessibility support in Concya Mobile (iOS) and how to request help or report an issue.
Concya Mobile (iOS)
Concya Mobile is a native SwiftUI app for owners and general managers. We design and test core flows with Apple's accessibility tools, including VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
VoiceOver
Primary navigation and actions include accessibility labels and hints where needed, including:
- Bottom tab bar (Home, Chat, Agentic GM, Employees)
- Sign-in options (email, Apple, Google, phone)
- Agentic GM chat (send, stop, chats list, quick actions, confirmations)
- Employee roster, search, and coverage actions
- Profile, settings, linked accounts, and sign out
Dynamic Type
Body text, headlines, and navigation titles use semantic text styles that scale with your iOS text size settings. Some compact UI elements (chips, badges, and certain chat controls) use fixed sizes to preserve layout; we are expanding Dynamic Type coverage in future updates.
Display & contrast
The app follows your device appearance setting (Light or Dark Mode) and uses system semantic colors for text and backgrounds on most screens.
Input alternatives
- Sign in with Apple— passwordless sign-in with Apple's built-in accessibility support
- Phone OTP — sign in with a one-time code sent by SMS
- Email and password — standard keyboard entry with system autofill where supported
Location (check-in only)
Staff check-in uses "When In Use" location only after you open a check-in link. Location is not used for general app navigation. If you cannot use location services, contact your manager or support@concya.com for an alternate check-in path.
Known limitations
We are actively improving accessibility. Current limitations include:
- Some decorative or dense UI uses fixed font sizes and may not scale at the largest Dynamic Type settings
- Motion and animation are not yet fully adapted for Reduce Motion preferences
- Agentic GM responses are text-based; there is no in-app text-to-speech for assistant replies today
- The Chat tab is not yet available in Concya Mobile
If you hit a blocker, tell us — we prioritize fixes that prevent someone from completing essential work (sign-in, schedules, check-in, or GM tasks).
Web platform
The Concya operator dashboard and marketing site at concya.com aim for keyboard navigation, readable contrast, and semantic HTML on public pages. For dashboard-specific accessibility questions, email support@concya.com.
